About me

Dražen Martinović

I have over 10 years of experience in human resources, with a strong track record of driving HR transformation, compensation strategies, and aligning HR systems to business needs. I’ve worked across various industries and held roles in companies such as Samsung Electronics, Takeda, and Trenkwalder.

My experience spans diverse HR functions, including leading compensation benchmarking, job evaluations, and performance management cycles. I’ve also led complex HRIS implementations, such as rolling out the Workday system at Samsung, and have been a key player in compensation planning through job grading and salary surveys.

I’m passionate about enhancing employee experiences and providing strategic HR support to business leaders. In my previous roles, I’ve managed comprehensive HR programs, consulted on performance issues, and delivered impactful HR solutions that drove organizational effectiveness.

Beyond my corporate work, I’ve also been involved in academia, teaching Applied HR Analytics, where I combined my practical experience with theoretical frameworks to prepare future HR professionals for the challenges of the field.

I hold a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in Business Law from Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien, and I’m fluent in German, English, and Croatian, which has enabled me to navigate complex HR landscapes in both local and international settings.
